Lyrics Heaven

The years ‘ 60 were one period great upheavals. The movements of freedom in Africa, release fights in South America, the civic rights goes to North America, movements of work to Europe, the political emancipation fights in the Caribbean, - all provided the impulse for the change of rate/rhythm and the interpreters were of avant-garde. By using their creativity and art and the circumstances of their time they created the traditional ones which raised the spirit. If it were about war or policy or love, there was an element of subtlety which gave to the listeners the opportunity to dream. They were limited only by their imagination. The years ‘ 60 sound was one scented era of a great musical Rebirth. And independently of the culture or the geographical place of the songs, seemed there to be a common wire functioning by them, — the lyrics one was not disposable words.
